Catholic Catechist is dedicated to providing Catholic resources, lesson plans and classroom ideas to catechists world wide. Catechists can also benefit by sharing their Catholic faith with fellow catechists through the discussion group.
This web site is owned and moderated by Doreen Gerczak, who has a BA from a Catholic University in Liberal Arts with minors in Religious Studies and Education.Doreen has earned her Catechist and Sexuality Certifications and has experience as a Confirmation instructor, Coordinator of Religious Education, Retreat Master and Youth Minister. Doreen is a member of:
- The National Catholic Educational Association
- The National Conference for Catechetical Leadership
- The National Assocication of Catechetical Media Professionals.
She is currently Religion Coordinator and Instructor for grades 6,7,8 at St. Edward's Catholic Community in Spring, Texas
